What's involved
Why refinishing fails, and why ours doesn't.
Cabinet work is the least forgiving painting there is. It gets touched every day, it lives with steam and grease, and every surface is at eye level. There is nowhere for a shortcut to hide.
Degrease and de-gloss
Kitchen cabinets carry years of cooking film. Coating over it guarantees failure. Everything gets cleaned to bare, sound surface first.
Sand and fill
Grain, dings, and old finish edges are sanded flat. Filled where needed. Checked by hand, not by eye.
Bonding primer
The right primer for the substrate — wood, laminate, or thermofoil. This is the step that decides whether the finish chips in year one.
Sprayed enamel finish
Doors and drawer fronts sprayed off-site or in a controlled setup, cured properly, hardware reinstalled square.

- Pressure washing or washing as the substrate needs, scraping failed film, sanding, caulking, spot priming, and protecting floors, fixtures, and landscaping. Prep is the majority of the calendar on Florida exteriors and on cabinet work.
